Dr. Song was “humbled and grateful” for the recognition of her 15 year history of scholarship at Murray State University, including the publication of 30 articles, two books, eighteen book chapters, reviews, presentations, with more items in-press. The committee noted not only high productivity, but high quality academic work cited nationally and internationally and through other formal recognitions, such as TESOL’s award for outstanding paper and the Korea Foundation Research Fellowship Award.
